Suffa Curriculum

The academic structure of Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) is divided into two parts: Hifz-e-Qur’an (memorization of the Quran) and academic studies. Admissions are open for students in the 5th or 6th standard, and the submission of admission forms is limited to a specific period due to the availability of limited seats. Updates and admission forms can be obtained from the Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) website and its Social Media platforms.

Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) follows the ‘TTT’ system, which stands for Talim (Education), Tazkiya (Purification of Soul), and Tarbiyat (Personality Development). Following this system, the curriculum of Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) is structured as follows:

For the Hifz-e-Quran program, students complete their memorization along with their 10th standard studies in approximately five years. The scheduled curriculum for Hifz-e-Quran includes Noorani Qaida, Nazaira (open book recitation), Sabaq, Sabaq para, and Aamokhta, which are standard components in most Madrasas. Additionally, students benefit from the UnderstandQuran.com syllabus to enhance their understanding of the Quran. The curriculum also includes basic Islamic knowledge, such as Aqaid (beliefs), Masle Masail (jurisprudence), Duas (supplications), Sunnats (Prophetic traditions), and Seerat (biography) of the Prophet from the Deeniyat Syllabus.

Moving on to school studies, Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) offers instruction in languages such as Arabic, Urdu, English, and Marathi. The subjects taught include Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, following the curriculum followed by other schools. In secondary school, the CBSE pattern is used, while in higher secondary school, the curriculum follows the Centralized Board under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India.

Alongside academic studies, Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) emphasizes personality development. Various activities such as early rising, physical exercises, career guidance, scholar visits, sports, doctor’s visits, occasional and cultural programs, and participation in Olympiad exams organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) are incorporated to nurture well-rounded individuals.

In conclusion, Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) offers a comprehensive academic structure that combines the memorization of the Quran with school studies. The curriculum focuses on both religious and modern education, fostering students’ intellectual, moral, and physical development. Madrasa-tus-Suffa (MTS) ensures a nurturing environment where students can excel academically while also growing spiritually and personally.
